I Think the Zipper Must be Stuck

Yesterday I grabbed a pair of my favorite jeans. They had somehow gotten buried in the pile of clothes that I never seem to find a spot for. It was nice to see them again, you know the feeling of that soft well worn broken in denim. Sort of like an ole pair of shoes, very comfortable.

I slip them on and find that the zipper must be stuck. I am so bummed. Perhaps this is the reason that they got buried in the first place. I don’t recall that being the case, but maybe. I keep trying to get the zipper to work so I try a different approach, I will do up the button and go from there. But to my surprise  the button seems to not want to work either. That darn button just does not want to get in the hole. Now I am really bummed and I am also huffing and puffing.

I finally manage to get the zipper unstuck and the button buttoned. What a chore! I look at myself in the mirror as I am barely able to breath and remember why those jeans were in that pile. They are my BWG (before weight gain) jeans. I think I have several pair just like that. All of them have zippers that are stuck. But not to worry with jeans, after you wear them a bit they will stretch.
